At Skookum Brewery, everything starts in the brewhouse. We focus on well‑built ales and lagers, brewed on site and served fresh in our Arlington taproom. Our lineup balances dependable favorites with rotating releases, giving you something familiar to return to and something new to discover.

Rooted in Arlington and brewed with intention, Skookum is built on respect—for craft, for community, and for the people who came before us. The word Skookum means big, bold, and strong, and that standard guides everything we do. From recipe design to taproom culture, we believe strength comes from doing things the right way.

The Taproom

Our 21+ taproom is laid‑back, welcoming, and built for people who care about what’s in their glass. Located directly beside our brewing operation, it offers seating for over 200 guests indoors, plus expansive outdoor seating during the warmer months. With 16 taps pouring everything from core beers to seasonal and specialty releases, the beer is never far from where it’s made.

Our Beer

We brew on a 10‑barrel system and produce four core beers alongside roughly 100 seasonal and specialty releases each year. From exceptional IPAs to barrel‑aged beauties and experimental brews, everything is crafted on site using premium, often locally sourced ingredients. Our beers are always offered in the tasting room first before limited local distribution.

A Strong Foundation, Forward Momentum

Skookum Brewery first opened in January 2007 on a farm in Arlington, Washington. After five years, we moved into town near the Arlington Municipal Airport, where we continue to brew and serve today.

This next chapter is about momentum, not reinvention. We’re honoring the heart and soul of Skookum—Ron’s original vision, the brewhouse, and the bold, unforgettable beers that built our reputation—while strengthening our roots and moving forward with confidence.
